Hedge Layer: tools and agent
Hedge Layer is in public beta and still being developed and tested. This includes the website, desktop app, WhatsApp, MCP, CLI and HTTP API. Features and availability may change. Results may be incomplete or incorrect; check the original sources.
Hedge Layer has two components: a shared financial data tool layer and Hedge Layer Agent. Use the agent for research conversations, or connect the tools to your own applications. The tool layer is read-only: MCP and HTTP expose the same tools, validation, authentication, and results.

Current coverage
Market search covers Polymarket prediction markets and Hyperliquid spot and perpetual markets. Polymarket also supports market details, snapshots, and order books. Hyperliquid also supports ranked instrument listings (including HIP-3 DEX perpetuals), price candles, order-book depth, and funding history. Web evidence search returns source-linked results from Perplexity.
Prices and quantities retain exact decimal strings, units, and provider provenance. Hedge Layer Agent uses a shared cloud runtime; other agents control their own reasoning.
Access
Sign in with an email code and create a token in API tokens. Tokens grant read access to every tool.
WhatsApp does not use a token. Follow the WhatsApp setup guide to connect your number from the Connect page.
